Thats the reason or one of the reasons I prefer Gears to Halo. Halo's multiplayer is the same as the campaign-with basically what Cliff described it as. Gears campaign also falls victim to this repetiveness, but the online is polar opposite. Gears online is sporadic and since it doesn't compeletely rely on "death animations" but pure physics based killed or be killed gameplay, nothing really happens the same way each time.
Well yeah, I haven't played KZ2 since....Apr-May of '09.
If you're talking about processing power then no. The original Xbox's cpu is clocked at 900mhtz...
My cellphone is more powerful than your 360 or PS3 consoles, in a whole bunch of ways...there I said it!
KZ2's multiplayer was good, what your point? No, I haven't played the beta. My point, if you missed, was referring to the length of KZ3's campaign length compared to KZ2's easily to max-out ranking system. If KZ3's ranking system is more fleshout and takes longer to obtain then I wouldn't personally complain too much about it's campaign length. But if KZ3's highest rank is as easy and as swiftly obtained as in KZ2 + the campaign being short, then I can see why ...
If the online is like KZ2 then the moaning is warranted in my opinion. I maxed out at General in less than 4 days.
@Lawliet...care to explain how Fable sales over 2 million copies each time? Or Forza?

"Why don't you link to Cliff's statement then?
The actual development could cost less, it's the advertising and such that tallies up the costs. And how could Uncharted 2's price tag logic not apply with Gears of War? "
I'm busy? Anyway, google is your friend. And I don't understand your Uncharted question...
The first Gears cost $20 million like most of these games this gen, even Ucharted had the same price tag. If a game's engine is well optimized you don't have to spend that sort of money again thats why the second was less. I suppose Gears 3 will cost more than both, but it'll show. Somebody from EA actually estimated Gears 3 is running at $50 million, but I seriously doubt it...
Edit: I may be wrong...

Its too bad people rather comment on what the first commentor said instead of the article. I really like HV and Mr. Nofsinger, I think they're awesome. Like he said, if they would've spent a "Gear's budget", it would've been suicide, but then again, I don't see how that money would've went into a game on the Wii unless it was advertising.
I remember Sega saying they were interested in bringing the series to the 3DS, I guess that might not happen now...
The game looks better in motion sooooo.....
"By the way, if I really wanted to I could run my own website with a few friends and try to push my way into video gaming events. Make up stuff that isn't true. Create a lot of flamebait articles and make myself look like someone who is actually popular by posting my crap on n4g.com"
The people who he gets interviews with, probably wouldn't return your e-mails or whatever you would do to get the results he does, lol.
I don't think they rebuilt the whole engine from scratch, so I'm going to disagree with you.
@sasanova...
"Active Reload + 35d ago Halo: Reach is overrated. I'm sorry Halo fans. I prefer the 360 but I can't fully grasp the love for Halo. Anyone who hasn't played a Halo game, just know that the hype surrounding it is made by Halo fans. The game...is made for Halo fans, it doesn't accomodate any other games mechanics. I know that can go for any game, but I'm trying to explain my thoughts on the franchise. Some people that are new to it may play it a...
Is it a rebuilt engine or the same one with added capabilites?
Why would he need advice from you...or me? He's doing what he wants to do and he's doing good for himself.
'Cause you're wrong?
Yeah...the only game I play or the game type I play the most in Halo is SWAT. Its so simple and repetitive but its like crack. It actually contradicts my first statement.
